01Where is the Pazo de San Tirso?
At Toreiro, 14, in the parish of San Tirso de Mabegondo (Abegondo), about 25 minutes from A Coruña. There is a wide, free car park in front of the pazo.
02How many guests can it hold?
The pazo’s website gives up to 200 people indoors and up to 400 outdoors, with a marquee. Bodas.net speaks of weddings of 50 to 400 guests and five halls seating 240. The pazo hosts one event per day.
03How much does a wedding cost?
The pazo does not publish its rates. Josmaga, one of its caterers, gives on Bodas.net a minimum price of €70 per guest for its wedding menus. There is no published price for hiring the venue itself: you have to ask the pazo.
04Who does the catering? Can we bring our own?
The pazo’s website says it works with Josmaga, Alborada and Montesqueiro, and that dates are blocked only through these caterers. To work with another, you have to ask the owners.
05How late does the party go on?
There is a time limit, but the pazo does not publish it: Bodas.net only says there is one. The team confirms it when you ask for your date.
06Can we have a church wedding?
One couple says on Bodas.net that the church is close to the pazo, for anyone who prefers a religious wedding, and that civil ceremonies can be held in the pazo itself. Ask the team about your date.
07What if it rains?
Almost everything can happen indoors: five stone halls and a cloister that is covered with a transparent tarpaulin in winter (Bodas.net). The pazo has its own generator: one couple says there was a power cut across the whole municipality during their wedding and they never noticed.
08Is it cold in winter?
Bodas.net mentions heat cannons and catalytic heaters, and another couple speaks of heaters. A 2022 couple, however, says they had to hire stoves themselves: ask what your date includes.
09Is it accessible?
Bodas.net lists access for people with disabilities, and several couples mention a goods lift up to the floor of the halls. The main hall is upstairs, up a staircase.
10Is there accommodation at the pazo?
No: Bodas.net says the pazo offers no accommodation.
11Can we visit before booking?
